About

Dr. Joshua Boone Olsen is a native of the Magic Valley and is thrilled to be back home! He grew up in Hagerman and loves the beauty of the Snake River Canyon.

Dr. Olsen is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Palmer has the prestige of being the oldest chiropractic college in the nation. After graduation from Palmer he learned and worked as a chiropractic intern under the late Dr. David R. Long in Twin Falls and Burley, Idaho.

Shortly after graduation he assumed his own full-time practice in Burley where he practiced for 10 years. When his mentor and respected friend, Dr. Long, passed suddenly in 2012, Dr. Olsen began covering the Twin Falls practice, eventually moving his full-time practice there. He practiced in Twin Falls nearly 10 more years.

Life and health troubles led to the closing of his Twin Falls practice in 2021. For the past two years he has been serving as a Healthcare Provider and wilderness survival skills instructor in the Arizona desert for the Anasazi Foundation, a world-renown outdoor behavioral therapy program founded by his late father.

“The past two years of living and learning alongside struggling teens, remembering my roots, witnessing the joy and power of compassion and love, has been a transformative. I am eternally grateful to my father, Larry D. Olsen and the labor of love that was his life. However, I have to say that the ground is much harder than it was 30 years ago when I last walked the Arizona desert!”

Dr. Olsen has 22 years of experience caring for individuals and families, with a particular skill and passion for Pediatric and Prenatal Chiropractic care. He understands that listening is the vital first step in establishing successful and thorough care for his patients. His bedside manner is comforting and calm, he takes time, and develops a trusting relationship with his patients.

Dr. Olsen and Dr. Arrington have been close friends for over 20 years and are excited to combine their years of experience and passion for serving the families of the Magic Valley.
